Get a Rapid Road Test within 14 business days- OR MONEY BACK!*
Typically, it takes 6-8 weeks to schedule a road test through the DMV. Sometimes life's circumstances can't wait that long, so we created the Rapid Road Test. Appointments are scheduled within 14 business days, at a location within 30 mile radius of Rochester,  guaranteed.

**Eligibility Requirements for a Rapid Road Test:

  • Verify that you meet all of the New York State Road Test requirements to take your test.
  • Have open availability, any day or time, Monday-Friday from 8:30am-4:00pm. Due to limited availability for these expedited road tests, we may NOT change the date or time once the appointment is scheduled. If you do not have open availability within this time frame, it is not recommended to sign up for this service.
  • Be willing to travel if necessary. In order to maximize your opportunities, we search for appointment openings in several locations, within a 30 mile radius of Rochester, N.Y.
  • Cancel any pre-existing appointments. The DMV only allows 1 road test appointment to be booked at a time.
  • Pay any fees owed to the DMV for extra road tests. Your permit only includes 2 tries at passing your test. After every 2 tests you take, the DMV charges a $10 "skills fee" before allowing you to schedule any future appointments. Please click HERE to be transferred to the DMV website and pay the skills fee, as this may prevent us from scheduling an appointment.

Due to high demand, we cannot guarantee Rapid Road Test in combination with our Road Test transportation service. We only provide transportation service within the area of the test site. If you do not live within the area of the test, you must meet us at our closest driving school. Additional fuel charges may apply.

FAQ's

How do I schedule my road test?

Our agents will contact you by phone when we receive your order to set up your appointment. We have a designated service area for each road test site, so we will select the location  nearest you. We will be in communication with the DMV to set up your test, so there is no need to schedule it on your own.

What happens after my test?

If you pass, you will be given a receipt from the DMV examiner, which will serve as your temporary license until your NYS Driver License comes in the mail. It will be mailed to the address you have in file with the DMV and arrive within about 10 business days.

If you fail, don't be discouraged! Your receipt from the examiner will list the actions that caused you to fail, and your instructor can explain the results to you. This will be a guide to improving your skills and you can reschedule and try again.

Can I use my own vehicle?

Unfortanately, no. Our vehicles have special safety equipment installed to protect our drivers, as well as additional insurance coverage specific to student drivers.
